What was your biggest career lesson? Nothing is a sure thing, even when there’s a big name behind it. It’s taught me to always stay adaptable and prepared for the unexpected.
What lesson do you want to share with graduates entering the workforce in PR?
Stay on top of everything and read as much as you can daily! Being up-to-date on the latest news is crucial for knowing what to pitch, when to pitch it, and understanding who covers what.
What is your favorite aspect of the PR profession? The opportunity to build lasting relationships with fellow PR professionals and media outlets around the world.
What do you most value about being a member of PRSA? I value being part of a community of like-minded peers who navigate the same ongoing shifts and changes in our industry.
What do you hope to accomplish in joining the ECD board? I hope to give back to an industry that has given me a career I love while also helping to nurture and support emerging PR professionals on their career journeys.
When you’re not working, where would we find you? As an avid animal lover, I love spending time with my dog and two cats. I also enjoy antique hunting and thrifting.
