Final Leadership Forum Focuses on Member Retention and Board Recruitment:

J.W. Arnold, APR, Fellow PRSA, spoke about member retention and board leadership. His presentation, “The Fable of the Tortoise and the Hare: Membership Retention vs. Recruitment” gave participants tangible ways to build and maintain Chapter membership. This Leadership Forum is sponsored by Butler University’s Strategic Communication Graduate Programs.

Forums are open to PRSA and PRSSA chapter leaders and members of the district. ECD 2021 Leadership Forums are sponsored by Butler University Strategic Communication Graduate programs. ECD board secretary Kaylin Staten, APR (PRSA West Virginia Chapter) and director-at-large member Jennifer Kramer, APR (PRSA Akron Chapter) are co-chairs of the Leadership Forums.

ABOUT J.W.:
J.W. Arnold, APR, Fellow PRSA, is principal of PRDC Public Relations / Marketing / Association Solutions with offices in Washington, DC and South Florida. For the past 21 years, he has worked closely with national and international trade, nonprofit and membership organizations. His clients have included Florida Association of Nonprofits, Rotary International, North American Association for Environmental Education, Ecological Society of America, National Academy of Education, National Musical Arts and Sustainable Energy Institute. He is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) and will serve as chair-elect College of Fellows of the Public Relations Society of America in 2022.
