Event Description:
In today’s fast-paced public relations and communications landscape, our digital tools are both essential and overwhelming. Join PRSA East Central District the day before World Mental Health Day for this engaging and reflective session, designed to help you take back control of your attention and energy.
Digital Detox: Reclaiming Your Attention and Joy explores how the very platforms we rely on to engage audiences are engineered to capture—and often hijack—our attention. Participants will examine how digital overload affects their focus, creativity, and emotional well-being—core elements of professional success.
Through engaging exercises, group discussions, and immediately applicable tools, you’ll leave with more than just insights—you’ll walk away with a personalized plan for change.
This isn’t just about unplugging. It’s about realigning your tech use with your values, goals, and well-being.
What You’ll Gain:
- Awareness of how digital platforms impact mental and emotional health
- Strategies to combat digital overwhelm and avoid burnout
- Tools to improve focus, creativity, and emotional resilience
- A personalized, realistic plan to reshape your digital habits
- A renewed sense of clarity and professional purpose
