ABOUT US
One of the 10 PRSA districts, the East Central District represents members in 17 PRSA PRSA chapters concentrated in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Western and Northwestern Pennsylvania and West Virginia. As of December 2015, the District represents more than 2,750 PRSA members including the following chapters:

GOALS
The goals of the East Central District are to:

  • Enhance chapter leadership development
  • Foster sharing of knowledge among ECD chapter leaders
  • Create an environment that encourages a leadership consortium throughout the Society
  • Advocate for chapters, districts and the profession

In doing so, the ECD seeks to:

  • Be a voice for the chapters to National
  • Participate in National’s PR profession advocacy activities
  • Promote the role and value of districts and National to chapters
